About Department

    The Department of Commerce (Information Technology), established in 2025, the department focuses on integrating information technology into commercial and trade-related activities. It works to promote digital solutions that improve trade efficiency and transparency. The department helps businesses adopt e-commerce platforms and digital payment systems. It supports the development of IT-enabled services that enhance domestic and international trade. Policies created by the department encourage innovation and technology-driven commerce. It collaborates with industries to improve digital skills and IT literacy. It promotes the use of data analytics and automation in commercial processes. The department contributes to economic growth by modernizing trade practices through IT. Additionally, the Center for Professional Courses provides coaching for CA, CMA, and CS programs, enhancing students' employability and helping them excel in competitive professional landscapes. The department remains a hub for nurturing future commerce leaders.

  • PEO1:To impart and to inculcate the ethical values in youth facing the modern-day challenges in commerce and business.
  • PEO2: To provide the knowledge on the role played by financial and non-financial organization which support the business system.
  • PEO3:To understand the use of software packages in day to day business activities by enhancing the computing skill
  • PSO1:Critically apply broad theoretical finance knowledge and skills to inform accounting and management planning.
  • PSO2: Analyze accounting, taxation practices and decisions using theoretical and technical knowledge of regulatory, legal requirements and ICT in business environment.
  • PSO3:Apply business knowledge, technical competencies and critical judgments to make recommendations for business planning.
  • PSO4:Make use of the information about finance and accounting rules in the business perspective.
  • PSO5:Acquire proficiency and knowledge to in the field of Information Technology with ethical consciousness
  • PO1:Demonstrate progressive learning of various tax issues and tax forms related to individuals.
  • PO2:Acquire knowledge in setting up a computerized set of accounting books for Business.
