Mission
To ensure periodic assessment of the teaching – learning, research and extension activities in the institution.
To help in promoting conducive environment for quality teaching and learning in the institution.
To facilitate faculty to adopt knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
To ensure development of institutional database and documentation of various activities leading to quality improvement.
To collaborate with other stakeholders for quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance.
To inculcate research culture among staff & students.
To motivate departments to organize interdisciplinary Seminars, Conferences and Workshops.
Functions
Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education
Organization of workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
Documentation of the various programmes / activities leading to quality improvement
Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality-related activities
Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on the quality parameters

Chairperson : Head of the Institution
Teachers to represent all level (Three to eight )
One member from the Management
Few senior administrative officers
One nominee each from local society, Students and Alumni
One nominee each from Employers /Industrialists / stakeholders
One of the senior teachers as the Co-ordinator / Director of the IQAC
INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL
The AQAR reviews and promotes in all spheres of academic activities. IQAC of the college has student members, which enables the students to take part in the quality assurance.
