      In today’s data-driven world, the rapid growth of data and the insights it can generate have fueled a global demand for skilled Data Analytics professionals. To meet this need, the Department of Computer Science – Data Analytics was established in 2025.
     Our B.Sc. in Computer Science – Data Analytics program blends a strong foundation in computer science with advanced analytical and computational techniques, equipping  students to make impactful, data-driven decisions.
      Beyond academics, the department fosters experiential learning through guest lectures, workshops, debugging contests, quiz programs, and technical competitions. These initiatives empower students to showcase their abilities, enhance practical skills, and stay ahead in the fast-evolving field of Data Analytics.

To establish itself as a premier hub for computer science and data analytics education by encouraging creativity, cultivating critical thinking, and generating skilled professionals who use technology and data-driven decision-making to address real-world issues.

After completion of the Programme, the graduates will be able to

After completion of the Programme, the graduates will be able to

PSO5: Ethical principles to ensure fairness, privacy, and transparency in data collection, analysis and interpretation.

Eligibility

     A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subject under Higher Secondary Board of Examination, Tamil Nadu as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereto are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Data Analytics degree examination of this University after a course of study of three academic years.
