Department of BIOCHEMISTRY
About the Department
Well equipped laboratory with highly sophisticated equipments. We are the first among the colleges affiliated to Periyar University to have nucleic acid extraction system and Real time PCR instruments. We provide hands on training to students in Biochemistry and enable them to compete at all levels. Our faculties have diverse research expertise and high-impact publications.
Organizing special lectures, symposium, seminars, workshops, quiz programs and various competitions for students. It creates an excellent opportunity for the students to bring out their hidden talents, diverse knowledge and research findings in the leading issues in the field of life sciences.
To develop highly qualified competitive professionals required for both academics and industries with excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skill.
To provide basics and latest concepts in biochemistry to the young minds. To provide opportunities to get hands – on experience in Research-oriented education in Biochemistry.
